April 15th: Show your support for military families by wearing purple or representing your favorite military branch! Thank you to all military personnel for your service!
Mrs. D’Anjou has dedicated 21.5 years as the school librarian at Thunderbolt Middle School and will reach 23 years with the district by the end of May. She is an incredible person who helps manage our ISS department, she is on the Culture committee for Leader in Me, and is known for her kindness and exceptional support. Mrs. D’Anjou builds strong relationships and consistently goes above and beyond for both our school staff and students. Thunderbolt is so lucky to have you on campus!
Join us for a Family Picnic for Purple Up! Day. Enjoy freshly grilled hamburgers and hot dogs with your student. The event will take place on April 15th during your child's lunch period. The cost is $5.00 per family member. Please pay in advance to claim your meal ticket at the front office by April 8th at 3:00 p.m. Wear purple to support our military families!

The Thunderbolt NJHS is partnering with the Lake Havasu High School NHS to collect school supplies for families in need in Lake Havasu. Our office will have a designated box for dropping off supplies. Please help us make a difference in our community! Your contributions are greatly appreciated. Thank you!
The 8th Grade Dance Celebration is just 45 days away! Student Council is excited to offer this free event to celebrate our 8th graders moving on to high school! Students can reserve their spot from May 1st to May 13th.
The Thunderbolt Invite marked an exciting start to the season as we hosted our first meet at Lake Havasu High School. Teams from Fox Creek, Kingman Middle School, Wallace, Kingman Academy of Learning, Desert Star Academy, White Cliffs, and Emmanuel Christian School joined us for a day full of competition and sportsmanship. A special thanks to Lake Havasu High School’s track team for their support in running and organizing the event alongside us. It was a fantastic display of teamwork, determination, and community spirit. Here's to many more meets and memories this season!
🏅🌟 Big shoutout to Lake Havasu High School for helping us host an incredible track meet! Thunderbolt Middle School kicked off the season with our first invitational meet, going head-to-head with some tough competitors: Kingman Academy of Learning, Wallace Jr. High School, Fox Creek Jr. High School Kingman Middle School, Desert Star Academy, White Cliffs Middle School, and Emmanuel Christian School.
🥇 Congratulations to our outstanding athletes:
- **Boys 4x100 Relay Team**: Bently Taylor, Gavin Williams, Richard Duran, and Zy’yir Walker took home first place!
- **Julia Aston** clinched first in the girls' 1200m!
- **Kellan Mosley** dominated the track, earning first place in the 100m, 200m, and 400m events!
- **Rowen Hinojosa** finished strong with first place in the 400m!
- **Lionel Palafox** soared to victory, taking first in the boys’ high jump!
- **Bently Taylor** made a splash, finishing first in both the boys’ 100m and 200m events!

Students from Thunderbolt Middle School partnered with the LHC Rotary Club to beautify our city by cleaning up Cypress Park! They worked together to collect numerous bags of trash from the surrounding area.
