May 21st - Students Dress Like Teachers and Teachers Dress Like Students!!

Students and teachers came together to dress like the comedic genius of Adam Sandler! The end of the year Spirit Day assisted in helping everyone head into summer with smiles and good cheer.

Eighth-grade students shined brightly to celebrate their journey towards the future as Knights. The theme of the dance was Black and White, selected by all the eighth graders at the beginning of the year.

If you are entering LHHS next year and interested in playing sports, please attend tonight! You will have an opportunity to meet the coaches and see the summer workout schedule!

Congratulations to MISS YOUNG!
We are thrilled to announce that Isabel Young has been awarded the May Sherry Dailey Golden Apple Award by the K-12 Foundation and our local community sponsors. Last Week of School Spirit Week!

Teacher Appreciation Week is next week! We’re excited to celebrate all staff members, as everyone plays an important role in teaching our students and families in various ways. We want to express our gratitude to those who have contributed significantly to our team!
At the bottom of the flyer, you'll find a challenge for all families to engage and participate if they wish!

Are you interested in growing your leadership skills this summer? Join us at Camp Invention June 2 - June 6. The Leaders-in-Training (LIT) position is a summer opportunity for students entering grades seven through nine. LITs build leadership skills in a dynamic, invention-based setting while mentoring children in kindergarten through sixth grade. Through the program, LITs gain and practice leadership and teamwork skills, act as role models for younger participants, and learn to set and meet personal and team goals. Sign up at invent.org/LIT. If you have any questions, please contact Courtney Zampogna (czampogna@lhusd.org)

Reminder: 8th graders can start reserving their tickets for the dance tomorrow!

On May 1st, show your support for your favorite college by wearing a shirt or its colors! Please refrain from wearing face paint or hats.
