We will be celebrating all of our Positive Principal Referral recipients NEXT Thursday, Dec 12th at Star Cinemas!
ALL Jamaica students and families are welcome to join us for a special viewing of Polar Express at Star Cinemas on Thursday December 12th at 6pm.
Our Positive Principal Referral recipients will be treated to a gift card to be used at the concession stand!
A photo opportunity will be available so bring the whole family and enjoy a night at the theatre to celebrate our CrocStars and get into the holiday spirit!
JINGLE BAGS ARE HERE!
Jingle Bags are back! Order a Jingle Bag for your student as a sweet, holiday surprise. The elves will deliver the bags to students on Dec 18th.
Order forms are coming home with your student and will also be available in the front office. Order forms are due by Dec 13th!
If you or your business are interested in sponsoring Jingle Bags to ensure each student receives one please reach out to JamaicaPTSO@gmail.com or fill out an order form and write "donation" on it at the front office.
Jamaica Elementary Students present a Holiday Music Showcase!
Your students are excited to perform and demonstrate the skills they have been learning in music class this year.
Join us for a festive night of holiday music!
Please have students dress for success in holiday colors including red, green, black & white.
Students should arrive 15 minutes prior to their performance.

DID YOU KNOW?
Your tax credit donations can go directly to our school to help fund the incredible programs here at Jamaica Elementary such as Kindergarten Enrichment, JET Group, Homework Club & Theatre Club. It can also go towards playground equipment.
LHUSD has made it easy to apply your tax credit donations too!

Toys for Tots has set up a donation box at Jamaica. NEHS will be out front each morning at 7:45 a.m., where you can drop off new, unwrapped toys for local children for the Christmas season. They are accepting donations now through Tuesday, November 26th.
*The grade level that brings in the most toys will receive a "Winter Pajama Day" in December!

In honor of Veteran's Day students may wear Red White & Blue on Friday November 8th.
If students choose not to participate, they will need to wear their school uniform.
